I have always loved bulgogi, since I was a little girl living in South Korea (air force dad). It became a staple in our home my entire life so when I stopped eating meat, bulgogi was the one thing I missed the most (that and my grandma's oven fried chicken). What is bulgogi? Essentially it's Korean bbq. My mother would slice beef extra thin, marinate for days, and then grill it. This version for goes the grill but you could stir in a tsp of liquid smoke to the sauce if you wanted to replicate that right off the grill taste. This version comes together super fast,giving you a full dinner in under thirty minutes and tastes like it came from a fancy restaurant.
